ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to build and maintain web applications for a tax research and workpapers platform. The role spans front-end development in React and back-end services in Node.js, C#, and Python, with data managed across Postgre SQL and Dynamo DB. This is a short-term contract running through December 31, spanning the full AWS cloud stack.
WHAT YOU WILL DO - Design, develop, and maintain web applications using React JS for the front end.
- Build scalable and reliable back-end services using Node.js, C#, and Python.
- Optimize and manage data persistence layers with Postgre SQL and AWS Dynamo DB.
- Deploy, monitor, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS, utilizing services such as SQS, Lambda, ECS, Cloud Front, ALB, and Event Bridge.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (Ia C) using Terraform and manage continuous integration and deployment workflows via Git Lab CI/CD.
- Write robust automated tests with Jest and Playwright to ensure code quality and application reliability.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues across the full development lifecycle.




MUST HAVES - 3+ years of experience as a software engineer .
- Front-End: Experience building responsive interfaces with React JS .
- Back-End: Experience developing APIs and services using Node.js, C#, and Python .
- Databases: Proficient with Postgre SQL and AWS Dynamo DB for both relational and No SQL data management.
- Cloud Technologies: Hands-on experience with key AWS services such as SQS, Lambda, ECS, Cloud Front, ALB, and Event Bridge.
- Testing: Solid experience with automated testing frameworks, especially Jest and Playwright .
- Dev Ops: Practical experience with Terraform for Ia C and Git Lab for CI/CD processes.
NICE TO HAVES - Additional proficiency with Terraform and infrastructure automation best practices.
- Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Git Lab.
- Working knowledge of Python for scripting or service development.
