We are seeking an experienced and highly strategic Director, Investor Relations to establish and lead investor engagement efforts for a leading financial institution. This executive position will play a critical role in shaping the firm's relationship with investors, analysts, rating agencies, and capital market participants. The ideal candidate combines a deep understanding of banking, financial performance, capital markets, and valuation methodologies with the ability to communicate complex financial matters to sophisticated stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the development and execution of the Investor Relations strategy, ensuring effective communication of the institution's financial performance, strategic priorities, and long-term value creation.
Serve as the primary interface between executive management and external stakeholders, including investors, research analysts, rating agencies, regulators, and financial institutions.
Develop and communicate a compelling investment thesis supported by a robust understanding of the organization's business model, financial performance, and growth strategy.
Prepare and oversee investor materials, earnings presentations, management reports, market updates, and strategic communications.
Analyze and interpret financial statements, including P&L;, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement, and key banking performance indicators.
Evaluate strategic initiatives and business opportunities through financial modeling, valuation analysis, scenario planning, and investment return assessments.
Monitor and communicate key financial and risk metrics, including capital adequacy, liquidity, funding structure, profitability, asset quality, efficiency, and risk-adjusted returns.
Maintain ongoing dialogue with market participants regarding trends affecting the banking sector, macroeconomic developments, regulatory changes, and competitive dynamics.
Partner closely with Finance, Treasury, Risk Management, Strategy, and Executive Leadership to ensure transparency and alignment across all investor-facing communications.




Support interactions with rating agencies and contribute to initiatives related to funding, capital planning, and capital markets activities.

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Actuarial Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
MBA, CFA, FRM, AMIB, or equivalent advanced qualifications strongly preferred.
Significant experience within Investor Relations, Investment Banking, Equity Research, Corporate Finance, Strategy, Treasury, ALM, or Capital Markets functions within a financial institution.
Strong knowledge of banking financial statements, balance sheet management, capital structure, liquidity management, and regulatory capital frameworks.
Extensive experience in financial analysis, financial modeling, corporate valuation, discounted cash flow (DCF), comparable company analysis, transaction valuation methodologies, and investment assessment.
Ability to understand and discuss key banking KPIs, including:
Net Interest Margin (NIM)
Cost of Risk
Return on Equity (ROE)
Return on Assets (ROA)
Efficiency Ratio
Capital Adequacy Ratios
CET1
Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR)
Net Stable Funding Ratio (NSFR)
Asset Quality Indicators
Loan Portfolio Performance
Risk-Weighted Assets (RWA)
Proven ability to assess business cases, investment opportunities, strategic projects, and value creation initiatives from both a financial and shareholder perspective.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills with experience engaging directly with C-suite executives, Boards of Directors, institutional investors, and rating agencies.
Native or fully bilingual English and Spanish.
