Job Summary

The HR Shared Services Representative is a crucial member of the Human Resources team, focused on delivering high-quality HR services to employees across the organization.

Responsibilities

- Serve as a primary contact for employee inquiries, providing timely and accurate responses to questions regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
- Process a variety of HR transactions with precision, including but not limited to onboarding, status changes, and offboarding activities.
- Maintain and update employee records in the HR database, ensuring data integrity and compliance with privacy standards.
- Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs, helping employees understand their options and facilitating the enrollment process.
- Support HR initiatives by preparing necessary documentation, coordinating meetings, and following up on action items.
- Collaborate with HR team members to identify areas for process improvement and contribute to the implementation of solutions.
- Provide reports and analytics to HR management, aiding in the decision-making process and the evaluation of HR services.

Qualifications

- A bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field with at least 2 years experience or equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts.
- Practical understanding of HR laws, regulations, and requirements.
- Experience with HRIS system and Microsoft 365.
- Organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively manage benefits information and educated employees.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications

- Certified Professional
- Human Resource (IPMACP): Recognizes proficiency in public sector HR practices.
- Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRMCP): Validates HR competency for early to midcareer professionals.
- SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRMSCP): Demonstrates mastery of strategic and policymaking aspects of HR management.
- Knowledge of Diversity Equity Inclusion (DEI) and Emotional Intelligence (EI)
