About the RoleWe are searching for a hands-onEngineering Technical Leadto drive software architecture, maintain high-quality engineering standards, and lead a high-performing team of 5 developers.
In this role, you will design scalable web applications and robust backend systems while remaining actively involved in writing code.
You will balance architectural vision with mentorship, ensuring our full-stack solutions are fast, secure, and maintainable.Work Model:Hybrid inCDMXafter 3–6 months (First 3–6 months are 100% Remote).
Contract Type:Independent Contractor.
Maintain an active coding footprint while providing daily technical direction to a team of 5 engineers.
Backend & API Mastery:Enforce best practices for backend engineering, robust API design (REST/Graph QL), and security protocols (OAuth 2.0, JWT).
Data Strategy:Define data persistence strategies across relational databases (Postgre SQL), No SQL solutions (Mongo DB), and high-performance caching (Redis).
Code Quality & Mentorship:Drive high code standards, conduct deep-dive code reviews,



identify vulnerabilities/performance bottlenecks, and mentor team members.
Partner with Dev Ops to optimize CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud deployments (AWS, GCP, Azure).
Experience:6+ years in full-stack web application development, with at least 3+ years in a technical leadership role.
Tech Stack:3+ years of deep expertise inNode.js, React, Java Script/Type Script, and Python.
Database Systems:Strong hands-on experience with SQL (Postgre SQL, Big Query) and No SQL (Mongo DB, Redis).
Dev Ops & Cloud:Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).
Track Record:Proven ability to deliver enterprise-level projects, profile slow code, and patch security vulnerabilities.
Soft Skills:Strong communication, Agile execution, and pragmatic problem-solving capabilities.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
