As aSenior Backend Java Engineer , you will be responsible for designing,



developing, and optimizing robust, scalable, and secure backend solutions within modernmicroservices-based architectures.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain backend applications inJava (Java 8+) , ensuring high availability and performance.Design and implement robustRESTful APIs , including versioning, authentication, and documentation usingSwagger/Open API.Build microservices and endpoints using frameworks such asSpring Bootand/orJakarta EE.Manage and integraterelational databases(Postgre SQL, My SQL) andNo SQLtechnologies (Mongo DB, Redis) efficiently.Implement and optimize data access using ORMs such asHibernateorJPA.Develop unit tests and automated API tests using tools such asJUnit, Mockito, Testcontainers , andPostman/Newman.ApplySOLID principles , design patterns, and secure development best practices (OWASP, data validation, error handling).
Contribute to the implementation and continuous improvement ofCI/CD pipelines(Jenkins, Git Lab CI, or others).
Collaborate in agile teams (Scrum), actively participating in code reviews and pull request management.Identify bottlenecks, perform profiling, and optimize performance in production environments.Work in international environments,



communicating technical solutions and documenting APIs inEnglish.Who You Are5+ yearsof experience developing backend applications inJava.Strong experience designing and implementingRESTful APIs.Strong command of frameworks such asSpring Bootand/orJakarta EE.Advanced experience withrelational and No SQL databases.Deep knowledge of ORMs such asHibernateorJPA.Experience with automated testing (unit and API testing).
Strong understanding ofSOLID principles , design patterns, and application security practices.Experience working withCI/CD pipelines.Advanced Git skills and experience working withAgile methodologies(Scrum).
Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization skills.Advanced English(spoken and written) to collaborate with global teams.More About PALO IT
