It is our focus on quality and growth that makes us an employer of choice and helps us maintain our culture of excellence.Position OverviewSelf-driven multi-tasker that monitors and controls inbound and outbound freight, making sure the plant is optimizing trailer space; carrier billing is accurate, and analyzes freight reports in search of the best shippingmethods and practices.What you'll doCoordinate the weekly freight forwarder calls to monitor all inbound ocean and air freightCarrier invoice review, challenge, and approval.
Maintaining the inbound report updated daily, from the




freight forwarder dataExperience with carrier routing guides and working with carriers and suppliers to keep complianceInternational air cargo experience, quoting, shipping, monitoringExperience with carrier damage claims and report control for follow-up and cost visibilityRetrieve performance reports from websitesProactively communicate to the internal customer the status of their shipmentsResolve issues in a timely manner (e.g. mis-ships, claims, etc).
