Costing Analyst / SAP CO Consultant – Mexico

For our client, we are looking for experienced Costing Analysts / SAP CO Consultants to support a Cost Center Planning and financial process improvement initiative across three manufacturing plants in Mexico.

Tasks & Responsibilities

- Work directly with plant controllers and finance teams to analyze cost center transactions, cost elements, and vigente postings.
- Identify incorrect or questionable postings and recommend appropriate corrections, reallocations, and adjustments.
- Support Cost Center Planning activities and help improve the accuracy of manufacturing and product costs.
- Analyze cost allocations, overhead absorption, and other plant-level costing activities.
- Support the alignment of Cost Center Planning with existing Material Ledger and Product Costing processes.
- Assist with process improvements, testing, stabilization, and hypercare activities.
- Develop process documentation and training materials and provide hands-on training to plant finance teams.

Skills / Requirements

- Strong background in manufacturing finance, cost accounting,



or plant controlling with hands-on SAP experience.
- Deep understanding of SAP CO / Cost Center Accounting and financial transactions within SAP ECC.
- Experience analyzing postings, cost allocations, reconciliations, and correcting transactional issues.
- Knowledge of Product Costing and Material Ledger strongly preferred.
- Ability to work directly with business and plant finance teams rather than operating solely from an IT/technical perspective.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication and training skills.
- English required; Spanish strongly preferred.
- Mexico-based candidates preferred.
