Senior Principal SRE Engineer / Lead Architect

We're looking for a Senior Principal SRE Engineer / Lead Architect to lead operational resilience and architectural vision for a large-scale technology platform. This is a fully remote role (Mexico) combining strategic and technical leadership, responsible for guiding architecture decisions across front-end, back-end, APIs, databases, and the network layer, as well as designing scalable AI/ML pipelines and architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

- Define and oversee full-stack architecture for critical solutions, ensuring scalability, fault tolerance, and security.
- Lead the adoption of automation, CI/CD, and configuration-as-code practices across multiple cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Design architecture and pipelines for Machine Learning and Deep Learning workloads (TensorFlow, PyTorch), factoring in cost, security, and fault tolerance.
- Establish observability, alerting, and dashboarding standards for operational readiness.
- Drive chaos engineering and production readiness practices to mitigate operational risk.
- Oversee certificate management (Venafi, ECMS, CerTIS, OpenSSL) and networking concepts (TCP/IP,



firewalls, load balancers, proxies).
- Ensure compliance with ITSM frameworks and regulatory standards.

Requirements:

- Proven, strong experience in systems architecture, SRE, and technical leadership.
- Deep knowledge of Kubernetes, microservices, and containerization.
- Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and its AI-specific services.
- Knowledge of Machine Learning/Deep Learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken) to collaborate with international teams.
- Availability to work fully remote from Mexico.
