Your Role

As a Senior Azure SQL Database Engineer at Capgemini, you will be responsible
for the design, development, optimization, and support of enterprise-scale
database solutions within Azure environments. You will play a key role in
ensuring the performance, scalability, and reliability of critical data
platforms while supporting complex business applications and data-driven
initiatives.

This role requires deep expertise in Azure SQL technologies, advanced SQL
development, cloud-based data services, and database performance optimization.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance
solutions and continuously improve database operations.





Responsibilities & Scope

* Design, develop, and optimize database solutions using Azure SQL Database and
Azure SQL Server.
* Create, maintain, and enhance complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views,
functions, and database objects.
* Monitor database performance and implement tuning strategies to improve
efficiency and scalability.
* Analyze and optimize query execution plans, indexing strategies, and database
configurations.
* Diagnose and resolve database performance bottlenecks, connectivity issues,
and operational incidents.
* Support database development activities across enterprise applications and
data platforms.
