Description
Responsibilities:
- Coordination and planning of the day-to-day activities of the Pune Mechanical COE team.
- Project identification, planning, and tracking.
- Interaction with LOB leaders and subject matter experts.
- Serving as a subject matter expert on Mechanical CAD tools and processes for both the Pune team and the business as a whole.
- Reporting on the status of the team’s projects, including tracking appropriate KPIs and SLAs
Requirements:
- BS in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field, or equivalent required.
- MS in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field, or an MBA, preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in mechanical design for critical infrastructure systems.
- Demonstrated success in leading teams to accomplish project implementations on time, on budget, and with high quality.
- 7+ years of design experience with a modern MCAD package required.
- 5+ years of design experience with CREO preferred.
- Experience leading distributed teams.
- Experience leading teams based in either India or China, preferred.
- Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally as required (estimated 10% of travel)
- Solid communications skills, with fluency in both written and spoken English.
