Natural Habitat Adventures is actively hiring experienced Expedition Leaders for upcoming opportunities guiding departures of our Kingdom of the Monarchs itinerary beginning in December 2026.

Our Expedition Leaders are highly skilled naturalists, educators, and professional guides who are deeply passionate about conservation and the wild places they share with our guests. Combining natural history expertise with exceptional guest service, they deliver engaging, science-based interpretation and create safe, meaningful small-group experiences that deepen travelers’ understanding of wildlife, ecosystems, and conservation while inspiring curiosity, appreciation, and stewardship.

To support local communities and provide guests with a more authentic local experience, we prioritize hiring Field Team members who live in the regions where we operate. Only applicants currently residing in Mexico and legally authorized to work in Mexico will be considered. Preference will be given to applicants residing in or near Mexico City.

RESPONSIBILITIES





Interpretation & Education
- Deliver engaging, science-based natural history and conservation education tailored to each group’s interests, knowledge level, and field conditions.
- Spot wildlife and facilitate safe, ethical, and memorable wildlife viewing experiences.

Guest Experience
- Lead exceptional multi-day, small-group experiences while fostering a welcoming, inclusive, and engaging group environment.
- Provide attentive, personalized guest service by anticipating needs and adapting to individual interests and abilities.
- Communicate daily logistics, safety information, and trip expectations clearly and professionally.

Operations & Leadership
- Prepare for and lead the day-to-day execution of each trip, coordinating logistics, transportation, accommodations, meals, and itinerary adjustments as needed.
- Work collaboratively, professionally, and respectfully with fellow Field Tea
