we are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented to join our pre-construction team. In this role, you will analyze architectural and structural blueprints to generate precise material takeoffs and competitive cost estimates for both light-gauge/structural steel framing and wood framing packages. Your calculations and strategic bids will directly drive our project profitability and operational success.
job requirements
technical knowledge & skills required:

- advanced english knowledge: upper intermediate, advanced or proficient
- strong and verifiable engineering/architectural background and experience
- 2+ years of construction estimating experience, with specific hands-on knowledge of wood and steel framing systems.
- knowledge in software tools: such as autocad, planswift, countfire, etc.
- ability to perform drafting, layout work, and straightforward calculations, take-offs, budgets relative to all construction details
- prepare drawings from supplied plans and sketches
- perform component-based material take-offs from prepared shop drawings

- planswift knowledge or similar softwares.
- manage the day-to-day workflow and output of the department, prioritizing and assigning projects
- calculate project time & budget estimates based on materials and resources required; maintain a system for recurring or standard projects
- ensure finished projects align with customer and project requirements
- perform any other job-related duties as required
