Affinity Workforce Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced **Secondary Supply teacher** to help support a growing number of well-established schools within and across the Swindon area.We are keen to hear from anybody who is looking for a challenge and available to work as soon as possible.
**Key responsibilities of the role**:- Deliver pre-set lesson plans: Follow the absent teachers plans to ensure students stay on track with the curriculum.
- Record and report progress: Keep track of attendance, behaviour, and any notable academic issues for the returning teacher.
- Manage classroom behaviour: Maintain discipline and create a positive learning environment, even with unfamiliar students.
- Engage,
motivate and encourage students to complete work to the best of their ability.
- Adapt quickly to new environments: Familiarise yourself with school policies, routines, and expectations- often with little notice.
**To register with Affinity Workforce Solutions, you will need**:- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS, QTLS).
- Right to Work in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS certificate on the update service or willing to put one in process (we can support with this)- Previous experience within an educational setting supporting students.
- Ability to provide references for the last two years (can be a combination of professional, academic and character).
