Descripción

- Proven experience in berries operational management.

- Strong experience in cold chain and logistics management of berries

- Lead daily operations across multiple sites, ensuring smooth execution and alignment with business goals.

- Oversee berries reception, validation, consolidation, and dispatch processes.

- Ensure proper execution of the cold chain (coolers, storage, handling, temperature control).

- Manage logistics and distribution, including coordination with suppliers and transportation.

- Supervise packaging operations and ensure timely availability of materials.

- Lead and manage large operational teams (including seasonal workforce fluctuations).

- Adjust workforce planning based on volume variability.

- Monitor and improve operational KPIs (efficiency, waste, service levels).

- Drive cost optimization initiatives without impacting service or quality.

- Coordinate cross-functionally with quality, finance, and leadership teams.

- Implement and enforce processes and operational standards.

- Support ERP usage and data-driven decision making.





- Lead or support operational transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Identify improvement opportunities and implement changes while maintaining operational stability.

Perfil buscado

- Operations leadership experience in berries or perishable goods (commercial model).

- Strong expertise in cold chain management (coolers, storage, temperature control).

- Proven experience in logistics, packaging, and product dispatch.

- Experience working with external suppliers/farmers (no own production).

- Ability to manage large teams (200+ in peak seasons).

- Comfortable in highly dynamic, fast-changing environments.

- Experience with ERP systems (JD Edwards, NetSuite or similar).

- Strong focus on cost efficiency and operational control.

- Leadership style: structured, decisive, and adaptable.

- Functional English communication (US/Canada interaction).

- Willing to relocate
