This position is an Analyst role on the Regional Controller team. An Accounting and Controls Analyst is a professional who plays a crucial role in a companyu0027s financial management and internal control processes.

Their primary responsibilities involve ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and implementing effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud.

u2022 Financial Reporting: Support preparation of financial statements, following generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) adherence, local statutory/tax compliance, and other relevant accounting standards.
u2022 Internal Controls: Implement and monitor control procedures to minimize the risk of errors, fraud, and financial misstatements. This might involve regularly reviewing and improving internal processes, ensuring proper segregation of duties, and participating in periodic internal audits.
u2022 Compliance: Ensure compliance with applicable accounting regulations and reporting requirements. Keep abreast of changes in accounting standards and help the company adapt to new requirements.
u2022 Finance Operations:



Support Site Finance Leader actions including all closing and accounting activities.
u2022 Data Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, patterns, and potential issues. This analysis can provide valuable insights into the companyu0027s financial health and help management make informed decisions.
u2022 Partnership: Work with and communicate financial information effectively between operations and general support centers. Partner with operations to drive actions discovered through data analysis.
u2022 Process Improvement: Identified opportunities to streamline accounting processes and enhance efficiency. Suggest and implement improvements to reporting methods, financial systems, and automation tools.
u2022 Participate in MESH trainings and comply with policies and procedures at his/her site #LI-KL1 ## Qualifications: Education level required
Bacheloru2019s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.

Years and area of experience required
2-3 years varied accounting/finance experience

Language
Advanced English ## Skills: Technical knowledge
