This position is the main plant contact for the Customer Service Representative that handles the product families under hers/his planning scope.

This position can act as the planning lead back up and should be abel to assist and provide guidance to other planners in their day to day activities.Essential FunctionsFollow MRP signals to create work orders timely to satisfy customer demand, achieve desired safety stock and maintain work flow on the production line in alignment with the Master Production Schedule.Create and deliver a production plan and sequence to achieve OTD, Sales and Productivity.Communicate and coordinate with product line supervisors/leaders and purchasing teams to ensure schedule attainment and recovery if requiredMonitor and report to purchasing area material shortagesCommunicate frequently,



proactively with customer service team to meet or exceed customer expectations and maintain up to date backlog statusFollow up with production control status of work orders, investigate factors that affect schedules to modify production plan as necessaryFollow escalation process of potential issues related with OTD, sales and productivity and support action plan for short and long term solutionsDevelop and participate (as required) in negotiation process of Eaton claims (i.E., cost, time, rework, scrap, labor, sorting charges) with suppliers regarding non-conforming materialSupport NPI team as requiredSupport the Planning lead and act as a back up for critical activitiesSupport the Quality standards for our customer specific requirements and certifications *ISO, IATFFollow MRP signals to create work orders timely to satisfy customer demand, achieve desired safety stock and maintain work flow on the production line in alignment with the Master Production Schedule.QualificationsBasic QualificationsPreferred Education LevelBachelor DegreeYears And Area Of Experience RequiredBachelor Degree Engineering or Administration3+ years of experience in production planning in an automotive manufacturing environment or similar.
3+ experience in MRP PlanningStrong knowledge on SAP and Excel.
APICS certification (preferable).
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and SpanishSkillsProactive & results driven; Team work; Negotiation skills; Ability to prioritize activitiesProblem Solving, teamwork, customer service oriented, sense of urgency and collaboration, team work oriented.
