Eatonu2019s Commercial Distribution Products u0026 Assemblies Division is currently seeking a Custom Order Engineer to join our team. This position is located at our Bravos plant facility In Juarez MX. Relocatiozn assistance will not be provided. The Custom Order Engineer is responsible for engineering customer orders including detailed review of layout and application of equipment, wiring and component selection, reconciles pricing and delivery requests, and performs various phases of order management from reconciliation through engineering and manufacturing information (MI) generation. Job Responsibilities
u2022 Reconcile pricing and lead time requests of incoming orders, using information supplied through Bid Manager, Vista and other communications from field sales and/or channel partners, verifying that the plantu0027s manufacturing capabilities can support lead-time requests.
u2022 Verify that complete and accurate order entry information has been received from field sales and/or channel partners on incoming switchboard orders.




u2022 Support field sales and channel partners on post order entry issues.
u2022 Prepare Manufacturing Information (MI) for less complex switchboards configurations, utilizing MI Manager, Auto CAD, and Plant Order Manager.
u2022 Interface with customers, channel partners, Field-Sales, and Eaton Care through participation in plant visits, training support and customer events.
u2022 Schedule orders for production, reconcile customer requested ship dates with product line standard lead times and manufacturing capacity. Utilize MRP/CAD programs as well as Microsoft Excel to accomplish scheduling. ## Qualifications: Education level required
* Bacheloru2019s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution Years and area of experience required
* Minimum of 2-3 years of engineering experience in an industrial/manufacturing or engineering environment #LI-MB2 Technical knowledge u2022 Basic understanding of electricity
u2022 Experience with Auto CAD
u2022 Experience with MRP/ERP systems
u2022 Demonstrated technical and application knowledge of switchboards
u2022 Demonstrated proficiency in verbal and written communications, organizational and computer skills ## Skills: Soft Skills u2022 Strong verbal and written communication skills, persuasive skills, and analytical problem solving skills. Work with individuals and groups to effectively participate within a team environment
