This is what you will do in This Role:
Performs full range of standard work for the professional field.
Ensure OTD by leading or Designing mechanical Drawings such as: Header Steel (Structural Elements) Layouts, Composites, Safety, Pneumatic, Guarding, Netting, etc.
Ensure Quality Audits, support cross audits and revisions to peers and/or less experienced engineers deliverables.
Solve and refers complex unusual problems to others with more seniority.
Communicate, solve and track progress status to peers, project leads and managers. Able to remove roadblocks.
Takes responsibility and executes improvements that impact directly productivity and customer satisfaction.
Identifies and resolves more complex problems and applies problem-solving skills in order to deal with most situations.
Identify needs and create documents, material and/or solving problems references (trouble shooting)
for less experienced engineers.
Able to coordinate a small team of engineers in technical execution. Budget management.
Travel on site might be required. Low but feasible opportunities to travel across a number of our customer locations in order to fulfill the work requirements. Using prescribed guidelines and policies.
What we are looking for:
Bachelor's degree - Mechanical or Civil Engineering or any other related to Mechanical Design field
Background in Material Handling/Automation industry, preferred.
1-3 years of successful experience in related field.
Applied knowledge of CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.) and Technical drawings.
Applied knowledge of Inventor software and or Structural Design.
Effectively uses fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of particular area of specialization. (FEA).
