Company Impala Terminals Group facilitates the integral trade of commodities by offering producers and consumers reliable and efficient access to international markets. Through its network of 30 strategically located assets and operations in 20 countries, Impala provides critical storage and logistics infrastructure services to energy and dry bulk customers around the world. The company manages two global businesses – Impala Energy Infrastructure and Impala Dry Bulk & Logistics - and is a joint venture between one of the world’s largest commodity trading houses, Trafigura, and the global fund manager, IFM Investors. ITG is a Joint-Ventures between Trafigura and IFM investment fund, owning and operating various assets such as ports, terminals and multimodal logistics assets chains in export driven emerging markets for both liquid and dry cargos. It operates as well several assets (owned by Trafigura) under a management service.

Main Purpose

To alleviate the operational, data processing, and technical control workload of the Operations Performance Manager, acting as a first analytical filter and ensuring consistency in global operations reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Performance Monitoring (KPIs) and Reporting (High Priority) Consolidation of Operational KPIs: Centralize and automate the weekly or monthly collection of predetermined performance KPIs from all global operations. Preparation of Preliminary Reports: Process raw data received to generate charts, comparative tables, and dashboards, facilitating review by the Operations Performance Manager. Identification of Deviations: Perform an initial analytical filter to proactively detect significant variations, anomalies, or drops in terminal performance. Support in Business Analysis and Project Tracking Resource Mapping: Collect, organize, and maintain up-to-date information regarding resource availability, capacity, and constraints across different terminals to support technical analyses of new opportunities. Terminal Support and Systems Management (WMS and others) First-Level Document Support: Act as the initial point of contact for receiving routine technical queries or incidents from local teams, ensuring they have access to the correct system manuals and procedures. Best Practices Repository:



Maintain and update a centralized database containing operational and systems-related best practices (WMS and related software) shared among the different terminals. Technical Coordination with Stakeholders Information Flow Management: Assist in maintaining a fluid interface with Terminals, ensuring that technical data and information requests from both sides are channeled and addressed in a timely manner. Documentary Support in Meetings: Prepare technical support documentation, key data, or minutes for periodic operational review committees. Preparation of Checklists: Organize the necessary technical documentation and verification checklists prior to site visits, audits, or technical reviews at the terminals. Support in Training Programs Training Materials: Collaborate in organizing technical content, manuals, and schedules intended for training sessions for the next generation of operations leaders and graduate program talents.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Knowledge Data & Systems: Advanced MS Excel Logistics Foundations: Basic understanding of supply chain, terminal operations, and operational KPIs. Corporate Reporting: Knowledge of business correspondence and how to structure professional summaries and minutes. Skills Advanced Excel: Mandatory (Pivot tables, Power Query, complex formulas, and basic automation). Data Visualization: Proficiency in Power BI or Tableau is highly recommended to automate the reporting dashboards. Systems Knowledge: Familiarity with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) or ERPs (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Blue Yonder). Data Synthesis: Ability to gather raw data from multiple sources and clean it into accurate reports. Bilingual Communication Milestone Tracking Abilities Attention to Detail Analytical Thinking Proactivity Advanced English. A high capacity for managing competing priorities and documenting standard operating procedures (SOPs).
