In this role you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end fixed asset lifecycle, including capitalization, depreciation, transfers, and disposals, while ensuring compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and financial reporting requirements.
Should you be interested in overseeing these tasks and aiming for enhanced performance standards, your role will involve :
Manage the complete fixed asset lifecycle, including asset capitalization, depreciation, transfers, disposals, and record maintenance.
Oversee CAPEX projects and work-in-progress (WIP) activities to ensure accurate tracking, capitalization, and financial reporting.
Perform and review fixed asset accounting activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, depreciation runs, and month-end close reporting.
Maintain compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and audit requirements while ensuring the integrity of fixed asset and balance sheet accounts.
Lead and support the team while ensuring accurate and timely Master Data Management (MDM) database updates, resolving asset discrepancies, and addressing system or data-related issues.
If you have/are:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in fixed asset accounting,
general ledger accounting, and month-end close processes.
Strong knowledge of accounting standards, including IFRS and/or US GAAP.
Experience managing the full fixed asset lifecycle, CAPEX projects, work-in-progress (WIP) tracking, capitalization, audit support, and SOX/internal control requirements.
Advanced English proficiency, with the ability to effectively support reporting activities, financial systems, and collaboration with integral teams.
