Quickbooks Boookeeper Remote – Mexico Full-time | Contractor ⏰ Schedule: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm Mexico City time 9:00 am – 6:00 pm Mexico City time 10:00 am – 7:00 pm Mexico City time About the Role We are looking for a Staff Accountant to support day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting operations for multiple clients. This role is idóneo for an accounting professional with solid hands-on experience in bookkeeping, reconciliations, month-end processes, and client-facing accounting support. This is a hands-on, operational role with clearly defined workflows and close collaboration with accounting and finance teams. Key Responsibilities Accounting & Bookkeeping Support Record and categorize financial transactions in accounting software Maintain accurate general ledger records Perform bank and credit card reconciliations Support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes Prepare and post journal entries as required Reporting & Close Support Assist with month-end close activities Prepare basic financial reports and summaries Review transactions for accuracy and resolve discrepancies Maintain organized,
audit-ready documentation Team Collaboration Communicate clearly and professionally with internal teams Support accounting and payroll processes as needed Assist with special accounting projects and ad-hoc tasks ✅ Requirements Experience 2–3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, including reconciliations, journal entries, AP/AR, and month-end close support Experience supporting reconciliations and AP/AR tasks Understanding of basic accounting principles Technical Skills QuickBooks experience (required) Experience with journal entries and reconciliations Excel skills for tracking and reporting Soft Skills Detail-oriented and highly organized Reliable, accountable, and deadline-driven Comfortable following structured processes and instructions Open to learning and feedback Compensation (Direct Contractor): 20,000 MXN – 24,000 MXN libres Benefits Direct Contractor: 12 vacation days, 15-day Christmas bonus, major medical insurance (Sofía Healthcare), accounting support (declaraciones ante Hacienda), and laptop equipment provided.
