we are looking for a structural design engineer to support the design and analysis of exterior architectural products, ensuring compliance with project specifications, engineering standards, and applicable building codes.

responsibilities

- perform structural design analysis for aluminum and steel structures.
- review and coordinate structural drawings, shop drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- create and modify autocad details based on conceptual sketches, custom designs, and client requirements.
- coordinate with manufacturing, installation, support, and documentation teams to ensure compliance with design and code requirements.
- support root cause analysis, technical problem-solving, and product evaluations.
- manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities.





requirements

- bachelor’s degree in civil, structural engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in structural design analysis.
- experience with aluminum and steel structures.
- background in louvers, building façades, exterior architectural products, or related markets.
- proficiency with structural analysis software such as risa-3d, sap2000, staad, or similar.
- knowledge of u.s. building codes and design standards.
- proficiency in autocad, microsoft office, and ideally autodesk inventor or solidworks.
- knowledge of installation, machining, and welding techniques.
- strong communication, problem-solving, time management, and leadership skills.
- bilingual english/spanish required.
- availability to travel to job sites if needed.
