we are currently looking for a financial cost controller to join our team in mexico city.

key responsibilities

- monitor and control project and operational costs, ensuring alignment with budgets.
- prepare financial cost reports, forecasts, and variance analyses.
- track expenses and identify opportunities for optimization and savings.
- support financial planning, budgeting, and performance reviews.
- collaborate with operations, finance, and management teams to ensure efficient processes.
- ensure compliance with corporate policies and accounting standards.
- use erp systems (sap/oracle) for cost management and reporting.

requirements

- bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or engineering .
- solid experience in cost control, budgeting, and financial reporting within oil & gas, energy, petrochemical , or related industries.
- strong knowledge of sap fi/co and financial analysis tools (advanced excel, power bi).
- experience in financial analysis and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
- advanced english proficiency.
- availability to travel or relocate.
