We are looking for an Analog Layout Engineer (High Voltage) specialized in designing the physical layouts of electronic chips for high-voltage and power management applications, such as those used in cars and power systems.
Use tools like Cadence Virtuoso and BCD (Bipolar-CMOS-DMOS) technologies to create optimized designs that meet manufacturing rules (DRC), verification (LVS), and safety standards. Work as a team with analog and verification designers to ensure that circuits are functional, reliable, and efficient.
Their work is key for the development of advanced semiconductors in industries like automotive, where precision and robustness are essential.
Requirements
Analog and mixed-signal IC layout design:
Advanced level (+5 years of experience). BCD technologies (Bipolar-CMOS-DMOS):
Advanced level (+5 years of experience). High-voltage circuits:
Advanced level (+5 years of experience). Tools: Cadence Virtuoso: Advanced level (+5 years of experience). Calibre (DRC/LVS): Advanced level (+5 years of experience). Physical verification and sign-off flows (DRC, LVS, EM/IR):
Intermediate/advanced level (3-5 years of experience). Matching techniques, symmetry, and parasitic effects: Intermediate level (2-5 years of experience).
Activities
Layout Design
- Develop layouts for analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits at block and module level.
- Implement designs for high-voltage and power management circuits.
Responsibility over Critical Blocks
- Own macros and IP blocks within complex integrated circuit projects.
Integration and Planning
- Support top-level planning and integration of analog blocks.
- Collaborate with analog design teams, verification, and layout leads.
Verification and Validation
- Carry out and support DRC (Design Rule Check) and LVS (Layout vs. Schematic) activities.
- Execute physical verification and sign-off flows.
Design Optimization
- Optimize layouts for performance, matching, reliability, area, and manufacturability.
-Contribute to IP reuse and the development of new blocks.
Technical review
-Participate in technical reviews and design discussions with the team.
Teamwork
-Collaborate with design engineers, layout leads, verification teams, and project management.
