We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented to join our pre-construction team. In this role, you will analyze architectural and structural blueprints to generate precise material takeoffs and competitive cost estimates for both light-gauge/structural steel framing and wood framing packages. Your calculations and strategic bids will directly drive our project profitability and operational success.

Job Requirements

Technical Knowledge &

Skills Required

- Advanced English Knowledge: upper intermediate, advanced or proficient
- Strong and verifiable engineering/architectural background and experience
- 2+ years of construction estimating experience, with specific hands-on knowledge of wood and steel framing systems.
- Knowledge in Software tools: such as AutoCAD, PlanSwift, Countfire, etc.
- Ability to perform drafting, layout work, and straightforward calculations, take-offs, budgets relative to all construction details
- Prepare drawings from supplied plans and sketches
- Perform component-based material take-offs from prepared shop drawings

Desirable Knowledge & Skills

- PlanSwift knowledge or similar softwares.
- Manage the day-to-day workflow and output of the department, prioritizing and assigning projects
- Calculate project time & budget estimates based on materials and resources required; maintain a system for recurring or standard projects
- Ensure finished projects align with customer and project requirements
- Perform any other job-related duties as required
