Junior Project Coordinator

About the Role

We are looking for a Junior Project Coordinator to join our manufacturing site in San Luis Potosí, Mexico .

In this role, you will act as a key coordination point between our Project Management teams based in New Boston, USA, and the San Luis Potosí manufacturing site .

You will support the Project Managers in New Boston by ensuring that project-related topics assigned to the San Luis Potosí site are properly coordinated, followed up and progressed. You will work closely with local Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain and other functional teams to drive actions, resolve open issues and escalate potential risks or blockers.

Key Responsibilities

Project Coordination & Follow-up

- Coordinate and follow up on project-related activities assigned to the San Luis Potosí site.
- Maintain visibility on open actions, deliverables, deadlines and project milestones.
- Ensure that agreed actions are clearly assigned, tracked and completed on time.
- Organize and facilitate regular follow-up meetings with relevant local stakeholders.
- Prepare status updates and communicate progress, risks and issues to the Project Management team in New Boston.

Cross-functional Coordination

- Act as the local coordination point for project-related topics between New Boston and San Luis Potosí.
- Work closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Maintenance and other functions to ensure project activities move forward.




- Coordinate the resolution of open issues and help identify the appropriate owners and actions.
- Follow up on technical, manufacturing or operational topics that may impact project timing or deliverables.
- Support escalation of critical issues when required.

Project Support

- Support Project Managers in monitoring project schedules, action plans and deliverables.
- Contribute to project documentation, reporting and presentations.
- Track project risks, issues and dependencies related to the San Luis Potosí site.
- Support preparation for project milestones, customer requirements, launches and other key project events.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to project execution and cross-site collaboration.

What We Are Looking For

- 1–3 years of professional experience in project coordination, project management, engineering, manufacturing or a related field.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management or a related discipline .
- Experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment , preferably automotive.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
- Ability to coordinate multiple topics simultaneously and maintain a clear overview of priorities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills,



with the ability to work effectively with different functions and levels of the organization.
- Proactive mindset and ability to identify issues and drive actions to resolution.
- Comfortable working in an international and cross-functional environment.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent English is required for effective collaboration with New Boston teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
