Lean Manufacturing Engineer II

This role is within Chamberlain Group's Nogales Manufacturing - Operations group. A successful incumbent is expected to (i) Assist in the identification of the stakeholders and objectives for Kaizen and/or value-stream map (VSM) events, and (ii) Collect, validate, and analyze data required to understand problem root causes, or key drivers of required results. Requires 2+ years of experience as a Manufacturing or Lean Engineer and a minimum of a Bachelor's degree, Lean Manufacturing Certification, Green Belt Certification.

- Assist in the identification of the stakeholders and objectives for Kaizen and/or value-stream map (VSM) events

- Collect, validate, and analyze data required to understand problem root causes, or key drivers of required results

- Provide process improvement training to applicable areas and support the implementation of lean manufacturing methodologies

- Support leadership with material preparation and events; conduct follow-up activities and training as needed to ensure project completion and optimal results

- Determine critical business metrics and build dashboards, scorecards, and other measurement systems; help establish KPIs

- Identify and drive improvement opportunities based on data, customer feedback and stakeholder inputs,



while ensuring cross-functional alignment and stakeholder buy-in

- Identify opportunities for waste reduction, establish and roll-out plans in partnership with leadership of relevant teams

- Create standardized processes and ensure implementation of standardized operating systems

- Protect Chamberlain Group’s reputation by keeping information confidential

- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies

- Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed

- Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.

Education/Certifications:

- Bachelor's degree

- Lean Manufacturing Certification

- Green Belt Certification

Experience:

- 2+ years of experience as a Manufacturing or Lean Engineer

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

- Basic knowledge and experience in Layout Projection

- Basic knowledge of Autocad and Minitab

- Basic knowledge of Lean Tools and implementation

- Basic knowledge of material pull system

Other:

- Intermediate English proficiency
