In this role, you will join an established engineering environment at Forte, collaborating across international teams to deliver high-quality digital platforms. You will direct a cross-functional engineering team building an enterprise healthcare and business workflow platform, guiding architectural modernization and ensuring high system availability and reliable feature delivery.
As an Engineering Manager / Team Lead Full-Stack (.NET + Angular), you will contribute to its success by blending technical leadership with delivery governance, facilitating agile processes, removing technical bottlenecks, and mentoring engineers to maintain high standards of accountability and delivery consistency.
Key Competencies
- Lead and manage a distributed cross-functional team of senior engineers and SDETs, conducting regular performance check-ins, sprint planning, and technical mentoring.
- Establish robust pull request review standards, CI/CD pipelines, and architectural oversight while championing AI-assisted development tools to optimize sprint velocity and code quality.
- Drive the modernization roadmap from legacy architectures toward .NET 9+, containerized environments, and scalable web architectures in alignment with product management goals.
Mandatory Technical Skills
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering with 2+ years of experience in a technical leadership or engineering management role.
- Strong technical background in C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, .NET 9+, and Angular (v15–19+).
- 3+ years of experience working with relational databases using SQL Server, designing REST APIs, and managing pipelines in Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
Nice to Have Skills
- Familiarity with containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Domain exposure to healthcare standards such as HL7 FHIR or InterRAI frameworks.
- Practical knowledge of mobile cross-platform frameworks using Ionic or Capacitor.
- Familiarity with offline synchronization using SignalR or Dexie.js.
Qualifications
- Proven ability to manage distributed, cross-functional Agile engineering teams across multiple time zones.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and conflict-resolution skills to balance technical debt with business deliverables.
- Fluent written and verbal English communication skills (Upper-Intermediate level or higher).
