Role Description The New Product Introduction Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Guadalupe, NLE. This role is responsible for coordinating the transition of new products from design to production, ensuring manufacturability, quality, and cost targets are met. Day-to-day activities include collaborating with R&D; and product development teams, defining production requirements, creating and updating documentation, and supporting pilot builds and ramp-up activities.

The engineer will plan and track NPI project timelines, lead cross-functional meetings, and address technical issues that arise during testing and validation. The role also involves analyzing process performance, implementing improvements, and working closely with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams to secure a smooth product launch.

Qualifications





- Strong analytical skills to interpret data, diagnose issues, and support fact-based decision-making.
- Experience in Research and Development (R&D;) and product development, including collaboration with design and engineering teams.
- Proficiency in project management to plan, coordinate, and track new product introduction activities.
- Hands-on experience with product and process testing, validation, and troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or related field) or equivalent practical experience.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality standards, and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is beneficial.
- Ability to communicate clearly with cross-functional teams, document technical information, and present project status to stakeholders.
- Fluency in Spanish; working proficiency in English is an advantage for collaborating with general teams and suppliers.
- Comfort working on-site in an industrial setting and coordinating activities on the production floor.
