Senior Technical Architect – Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC B2C & B2B)

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Technical Architect with deep expertise in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) B2C and B2B Commerce to lead the architecture and successful delivery of enterprise-scale digital commerce implementations. The ideal candidate must have architected and delivered a minimum of two complete SFCC implementation projects from scratch, working closely with business stakeholders, product owners, development teams, and customer leadership.

The candidate should possess strong architectural expertise, hands-on technical capabilities, and excellent client-facing communication skills in English and Spanish.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end architecture and technical design for SFCC B2C and B2B Commerce implementations.
- Design scalable, secure, and high-performing commerce solutions following Salesforce best practices.
- Own the complete solution architecture from Discovery through Go-Live and Hypercare.
- Work closely with Business Analysts and Solution Architects during requirement gathering and solution design.
- Lead technical workshops with customers and provide architecture recommendations.
- Define integration architecture with enterprise applications including:
- ERP
- OMS
- CRM
- PIM
- Payment Gateways
- Tax Engines
- Shipping Providers
- Marketing Platforms
- Design APIs using REST/SCAPI/OCAPI.
- Lead integration architecture with middleware platforms (MuleSoft, Boomi, Apigee, etc.).
- Review technical designs, code quality, and ensure adherence to SFCC best practices.
- Define DevOps strategy including CI/CD pipelines and release management.
- Perform architecture governance, code reviews, and technical mentoring.
- Resolve critical production issues and provide architectural guidance during implementation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional general teams in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Drive performance optimization, security, scalability, and maintainability initiatives.





Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 12+ years of IT experience.
- 7+ years of hands-on Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Demandware) experience.
- Minimum 2 complete SFCC implementations from scratch as a Technical Architect.
- Experience with both:
- SFCC B2C Commerce
- SFCC B2B Commerce
- Experience leading large enterprise commerce implementations.
- Strong client-facing consulting experience.
- Experience leading distributed offshore and onsite development teams.
