Senior IT Specialist - BY WMSContract Logistics IT
Main Summary
We are looking foraSenior IT Specialistwithstrong development experienceto support the design, development, and enhancement of warehouse management system (WMS) solutions. This rolewill primarily focus on software development and technical solution designwithinBlue Yonder WMS, supporting general warehouse operations and business requirements.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Develop, modify, and enhance solutions withinBlue Yonder WMS - Discrete (formerly JDA / RedPrairie).
- Design and implement new technical solutions based on operational and business requirements.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to validate requirements and propose alternative solutions when needed.
- Develop custom functionality usingMOCA framework.
- Build and maintain integrations, includingEDI interfaceswith external systems.




- Work withSQL databasesfor development, troubleshooting, and data analysis.
- Support the continuous improvement of existing WMS solutions.
- Collaborate with internal IT teams and stakeholders across regions includingNorth America and other global teams

Minimal Requirements & Work Experience
- Around5+ years of relevant experiencein IT development or technical roles.
- Experience working withBlue Yonder WMS - Discreteis strongly preferred.
- Strong experience insoftware development.
- Solid programming experience in.NET(highly preferred).
- Knowledge ofJavais a plus but not critical.
- Strong knowledge ofSQL and relational databases.
- Hands-on experience withMOCA framework.
- Experience withEDI integrationsis required.
- Candidates with experience inBlue Yonder Dispatchermay also be considered, as this knowledge can be valuable for future system capabilities.
