In this role you will be responsible for developing and executing manufacturing strategies for Thermoplastic Injection Molding processes. You will create accurate cost models to support new business quotations, establish design-for-manufacturing guidelines, and provide technical feedback to optimize product manufacturability during the quotation and product development phases.

Develop and execute manufacturing strategies for Thermoplastic Injection Molding to optimize production capacity, efficiency, quality, and profitability.
Create and maintain accurate cost models and quotations for new components, supporting business growth and competitive pricing strategies.
Establish Design for Manufacturing (DFM) guidelines and provide manufacturability assessments during the quotation, product development, and launch phases.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity enhancement, scrap reduction, process optimization, and operational excellence within the molding department.
Evaluate and support strategic manufacturing decisions, including make-versus-buy analysis, tooling cavity optimization, equipment selection, and production cell design to maximize operational performance.
If you have/are:
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
Minimum of 15 years of experience in Plastic Injection Molding manufacturing, preferably with Class A automotive components, including painted and textured surface applications.
