Lean Manufacturing Engineer II

This role is within Chamberlain Group's Nogales Manufacturing - Operations group. A successful incumbent is expected to (i) Assist in the identification of the stakeholders and objectives for Kaizen and/or value-stream map (VSM) events, and (ii) Collect, validate, and analyze data required to understand problem root causes, or key drivers of required results. Requires 2+ years of experience as a Manufacturing or Lean Engineer and a minimum of a Bachelor's degree, Lean Manufacturing Certification, Green Belt Certification.

Assist in the identification of the stakeholders and objectives for Kaizen and/or value-stream map (VSM) events
Collect, validate, and analyze data required to understand problem root causes, or key drivers of required results
Provide process improvement training to applicable areas and support the implementation of lean manufacturing methodologies
Support leadership with material preparation and events; conduct follow-up activities and training as needed to ensure project completion and optimal results




Determine critical business metrics and build dashboards, scorecards, and other measurement systems; help establish KPIs
Identify and drive improvement opportunities based on data, customer feedback and stakeholder inputs, while ensuring cross-functional alignment and stakeholder buy-in
Identify opportunities for waste reduction, establish and roll-out plans in partnership with leadership of relevant teams
Create standardized processes and ensure implementation of standardized operating systems
Protect Chamberlain Group’s reputation by keeping information confidential
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies
Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed
