About The Job
Responsible for the financial performance and reporting of the monthly close process and analysis of Sales, Inventory, Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), and other Operational metrics for the plant operations.



Coordinates the development of Labor and Overhead rates used in the budgeting and forecasting process, while ensuring internal controls, price variances, and other P&L; activities are tracked and monitored.

Your tasks
Analyzes and makes recommendations to Finance leadership on the adequacy of controls in place for Inventory and COGS reporting, including analyzing product costs, labor variances, scrapped material, obsolete inventory, warranty reserves and cycle counting processes
Develops standard costing and material overhead rates and compares budgeted expectation against actual results. Make recommendations for improvement of costing process to ensure budgeted expectations are aligned with vigente results.
Performs monthly closing duties and makes recommendations for accruals and accounting treatment pertaining to Sales, Inventory, COGS, and Warranty. Ensures accuracy and posts required schedules.
