Job Description

Customs Origin and Solicitation Analyst

Follow up with General Suppliers on Customs Documents, both email and phone calls
Prioritize Workload
Create process improvements as needed
Audit documents
Key documents
Escalate non-responsive suppliers as needed
Work to obtain a new contact when needed
Assist supplier in using Document Solicitation System
Promote and encourage suppliers to use Document Solicitation System
Ability to work in fast-paced environment
Communicate Document errors to suppliers
Processes automation as required

Communication and Relationship

Communicate as needed with Customs Origin and Solicitation team and leads
Communicate as needed with Customers and Stakeholders
Escalating critical issues timely
Excellent Customer Service Skills

Additional Duties

Assist with critical projects when they arise
Ability to change priorities quickly

Experience:

Bachelor of Science in Customs Administration / Business Administration or equivalent
Continuous improvement mindset

Technical Knowledge Requirements:





Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills
Ability to understand, interpret and compare feedback results
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Access
Desirable: competent in Google Workspace tools
Desirable, competent in automation tools (Python, Knime, Databricks, RapidMiner)
