IMPORT & EXPORT MANAGER

Position Purpose

Provide strategic leadership for all Import & Export activities, ensuring full compliance with customs and foreign trade regulations while supporting business growth,



operational continuity, cost optimization, and risk mitigation.

Position Information

Reports To: Plant Manager
Direct Reports: 2-7 Employees
Level: Management

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

Define and execute Import & Export strategy.
Advise leadership on foreign trade matters.
Lead risk mitigation and business continuity initiatives.
Support launches, expansions, and supply chain transformations.

Trade Compliance & Governance

Own IMMEX, PROSEC, Annex 24, Annex 30, USMCA/T-MEC, OEA and CTPAT compliance.
Lead compliance reviews and trade risk assessments.
Approve customs classification, valuation, and origin determinations.

Operations Management

Ensure continuity of international material flow.
Manage brokers, carriers, and freight forwarders.
Resolve critical logistics and customs escalations.

Audits & Government Relations

Lead internal, external and govern
