Your Role
As a Scala Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance distributed systems that power critical business applications. You will leverage Scala, Play Framework, and Akka/Pekko to build reactive, scalable, and resilient services while contributing to modern microservices architectures. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex backend solutions, optimize system performance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
Responsibilities & Scope

Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Scala and Play Framework




Build reactive and distributed systems utilizing Akka/Pekko principles and frameworks
Develop and support RESTful APIs to enable seamless integration across enterprise platforms
Design and implement scalable microservices architectures following industry best practices
Optimize application performance and database operations across MySQL and Oracle environments
Develop resilient, secure, and highly available backend solutions for mission-critical applications
Create and execute unit and integration tests to ensure software quality and reliability
Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-documented code
Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering standards and best practices
Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve software defects and production issues in a timely manner
Collaborate with product owners, architects, and development teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
Contribute to CI/CD processes,
