Job Summary Flex intends to spin off its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment into a new, independent publicly traded company, which we’re calling SpinCo, until the name is unveiled. The spin is planned for Q1 2027. If the intended spin occurs, this role will support SpinCo, which will focus on critical digital infrastructure, delivering end-to-end power and thermal management solutions for AI data centers and other mission-critical applications.

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Process engineer located on Flex North. Reporting to the Process Engineerthe Process engineer Responsible for developing, optimizing, and supporting structural welding and sheet metal manufacturing processes,



including robotic welding programming, WPS development, and process validation.

What a typical day looks like:
- Program and optimize robotic welding systems for structural welding and sheet metal manufacturing processes, including process parameters and welding sequence development.
- Develop, maintain, and qualify Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) in compliance with AWS standards and customer requirements.
- Interpret technical drawings, manufacturing prints, and welding symbols to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly processes.
- Conduct Design for Manufacturability (DFM) reviews to improve product quality, manufacturability, and production efficiency.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for welding and manufacturing issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions.
