The right Staff Accountant will be a proactive individual who is looking to ensure the financial statements are accurate, is excited to work for a growing international company and has strong attention to detail.
Duties & Responsibilities
Ensure AP and AR processes are followed and maintain and collect proper documentation:
Assist with accounts receivable process from invoicing to collection
Assist with general ledger activities such as: journal entries, review AP and AR balances and reconciliations, account reconciliations, management reporting, etc.
Perform month-end and year-end close activities
Assist with Financial Statement preparation and analysis




Review and troubleshoot billing issues
Generate and review AR aging reports and help with collections
Update customer accounts and records as needed
Assist with special projects as needed
Qualifications
University Degree in Accounting is required
Excellent written and verbal English and Spanish communication skills
Minimum of two years accounting experience is required.
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP (generally accepted accounting principles) and IFRS principles
Experience with foreign currency translations
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel
QuickBooks Online experience a plus.
Ability to function well in a fast-paced and changing environment.
