Overview Our client is a growing U.S.-based healthcare education company that trains future MRI technologists through online learning, simulation, and hands-on clinical training. Their students need strong clinical placements to graduate, and their healthcare partners need reliable talent pipelines — this role is the connective tissue between the two.
Your Role This role sits at the intersection of healthcare relationship management, account management, and inside sales. You'll support existing hospital and imaging-center partners, reactivate relationships that have gone quiet, help sites resolve student and placement issues, and open new opportunities for partners to host students or send their own employees through the program.
It's phone-first work: expect a mix of warm partner check-ins, the occasional difficult service-recovery call, outbound prospecting, and the detailed follow-through it takes to move an affiliation agreement or student placement to completion. Success looks like a portfolio where nothing falls through the cracks, dormant sites come back online, and new placement capacity keeps opening up.
You’ll: Manage a portfolio of relationships with hospitals, imaging centers, and healthcare organizations, from site-level managers up to divisional and senior leaders
Run a consistent outreach cadence of calls, meetings, and personalized emails based on each partner's priority and activity level
Lead partner check-ins that turn into decisions, making sure every commitment has a clear next step
Support partners through student placements, upcoming cohorts, program questions, and relationship issues, including sensitive situations that need internal coordination
Reactivate affiliated or previously engaged sites that aren't currently hosting students or sending employees into the program
Develop new clinical-site relationships through outbound calls, referrals, and persistent multi-contact follow-up, and spot opportunities to expand existing partnerships into new locations, cohorts, or sponsored employees
Keep contacts, notes, activities, and relationship statuses accurate in the internal platform, and give leadership a clean weekly view of partner health, pipeline movement, and risk
You Bring: We're looking for someone who already works close to this kind of relationship-building, in one of two ways. You might currently work in healthcare staffing, placing candidates into healthcare roles or bringing hospitals and health systems on board as clients. Or you've worked at the intersection of healthcare and education, managing clinical sites, student placements, workforce programs, or similar partnerships.
2+ years owning relationships with hospitals, clinics, imaging centers, or other healthcare sites; experience in an education, training, or workforce-development setting is a strong plus
Experience managing 30 or more active organizational relationships at once, with a clear system for prioritizing them and following through
Direct outbound experience: cold calling, prospecting, reactivating stalled relationships, or opening new healthcare-site relationships from scratch
Comfort using a CRM to manage a relationship pipeline, log activity, and report on portfolio status
Experience working inside multi-location healthcare organizations, with relationships that run from site-level contacts up to senior leadership
Excellent spoken and written English with a confident, professional phone presence
Sound judgment in sensitive customer situations, including knowing when to escalate, plus the initiative to work independently and report progress without being asked
Bonus Points:
Additional experience in B2B inside sales, account management, or partnership development outside of healthcare
Familiarity with clinical affiliation agreements or academic-clinical partnership structures
What’s Offered: Fully remote role, full-time, working U.S. business hours
Compensation based on experience, location, and hiring arrangement
Real ownership over a portfolio that directly determines the company's training capacity
Room to grow as the company expands its clinical partner network
Direct, visible impact: your relationship-building shows up in placement capacity and program growth
