About the Role
At
NOVACARD
, we're looking for a
Legal Contracts & Corporate Affairs Analyst
to support NOVAPLAZO and our growing operations in Mexico.
You will work across
commercial contracting, corporate affairs, AML/KYC compliance, and financial regulation
, partnering with Operations, Finance, Product, Commercial, and other teams.
What You'll Do
Contracts & Corporate Affairs
Review, negotiate, and formalize
merchant, supplier, and commercial agreements
, including NDAs.
Review key clauses related to data protection, intellectual property, confidentiality, liability, and termination.
Manage contract documentation, version control, signatures, and corporate files.
Support
shareholder meetings, powers of attorney, corporate records, and filings
before the RPC and SAT.
Coordinate corporate matters with notaries, financial institutions, and internal stakeholders.
Compliance & Legal Support
Support
AML/KYC compliance
under LFPIORPI and applicable regulations.
Review and validate customer and corporate documentation.
Support monthly notices and reporting before the
UIF
.
Assist with regulatory matters involving
Banxico, CONDUSEF, PROFECO, and other relevant authorities
.
Provide day-to-day legal support to Operations,



Product, Commercial, and Finance teams.
Job requirements
What We're Looking For
Law degree (Licenciatura en Derecho)
and valid Mexican professional license (
cédula competente
).
At least
3 years of relevant professional experience in sector.
Experience in
commercial contracts and corporate law
.
Knowledge of Mexican corporate and commercial regulations.
Knowledge of
AML regulations (LFPIORPI)
and KYC processes.
Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and legal writing skills.
Ability to manage multiple legal matters and deadlines simultaneously.
Intermediate to advanced English
.
Nice to Have
Experience in
fintech, financial services, acquiring, payments, or regulated industries
.
Knowledge of
financial regulation and data protection (LFPDPPP)
.
Experience with electronic signature and document management platforms.
Postgraduate studies in Corporate, Financial, or Regulatory Law.
