Senior SDET AI Agentic Systems
Location Mexico City Hybrid
We are looking for a Senior SDET to help build and assure our nextgeneration agentic products. This handson role suits an engineer who pairs deep automation expertise with strong software fundamentals and handson experience testing AI and agentbased systems in production. Youll define the automation and quality strategy for an Agile team validating agentic workflows, LLMpowered features, APIs, and endtoend reliability while raising the engineering bar across the organization.
What Youll Do
Own endtoend quality engineering for agentic applications, intelligent workflows, APIs, UIs, and platform services.
Design and maintain robust automation frameworks for UI, API, integration, and regression testing.
Define test strategies for AI agentbased systems workflow validation, response quality, tool usage, guardrails, and failure handling.
Build automated quality gates in CI CD pipelines to ensure highconfidence releases.
Partner with engineers, product managers, and data AI teams to build quality in from design through production.
Create meaningful test data, validate edge cases, and drive rootcause analysis to resolution.
Evaluate performance, reliability, observability, resilience, and scalability.
Proactively identify gaps and mentor teammates on automation and quality best practices.
About You
Strong experience in test automation, framework design, and code quality practices.
Proven ability to test distributed systems, APIs,



eventdriven architectures, and userfacing apps.
Experience validating AIenabled or agentic applications prompt workflow validation and scenariobased testing.
Solid grasp of Agile, shiftleft testing, and CI CD.
Comfortable navigating ambiguity and applying innovative thinking to new challenges.
Strong communication and stakeholder management, with a bias for action.
Technical Skills
Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or a similar automation language.
Handson experience with Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or REST Assured.
Experience integrating automated tests into CI CD pipelines and quality gates.
Understanding of test approaches for LLMs, retrieval workflows, and nondeterministic systems is highly desirable.
Familiarity with observability, test data management, and performance testing is a plus.
