Eatonu****s IS AER ITD division is currently seeking a Ingeniero de Procesos de Moldeo, Sr..nn## What youu****ll do:nnPRIMARY FUNCTION:nnThe Molding Process Engineer is responsible for the development, validation and innovation of new ideas, products, processes, materials and all the specific tools necessary for the molding industry in general, at an advanced engineering level. Defines and implements the functions of troubleshooting, assembly, modification, design and replacement of molds, dies and tooling; ensuring compliance with product and process specifications, maximizing efficiency in the use of resources and favorably impacting operating indicators such as: Quality, Service and Cost.nnESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: nnu**** Coordinate and participate with HPWT (High Performance Work Teams) to achieve Hive Five Metrics nu**** Propose and implement actions to reduce the scrap in Molding Area nu**** Define, develop and implement efficient molding processes nu**** Improve efficiency and cycle time in Molding Processes nu**** Leads value engineering, DOE, and RIE events to improve part cost, quality, and performance. nu**** Implementation and management of equipment installation, layout changes and improvements nu**** Training and validation of the activities of technical and operational personnel in the use of molding equipment nu**** Investigation of machine and mold damage, customer complaints, or production defects nu**** Validation of new molds and defining process parameters nu**** Conditioning machines or equipment designed to improve production conditions nu**** Plans the sequences of operations and specifies the procedures for the development of tools or equipment and other functions that affect production nu**** Project management nu**** Establish strategies / parameters for the use of team capabilities nu**** Process Validation for engineering changes or new products (PPAP Level 3, Use of statistical tools (Minitab) nu**** Knowledge of plastics and engineering resins nu**** Problem solving and decision making nu**** Scientific Molding (Master Molder 1)nn#LI-DS2nn## Qualifications:nnSPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE: nu**** Bacheloru****s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Plastics Engineering (Polymers), Tool Engineering, Related Careers nu**** +5 years of experience in similar positions nu**** Fluent in English/Spanish nu**** Cost Out projects experience nu**** Solving Problem techniques (5 Whyu****s, 8Du****s, etc.) nu**** Using statistical tools (Minitab) nu**** Project management nu**** Scientific Molding (Master Molder 1) nu**** Solid Works, Mold design nu**** Molding Process nu**** Resins (Polymers) nu**** Molds (Cold runner u**** Hot runner, Valve gate, Coresu****etc)nnIndividual Contributor Competencies: nu**** Possess Effective Communication Skills nu**** Demonstrates a Collaborative Style nu**** Drives for Results nu**** Make Decisions/Solves Problems nu**** Promotes and Champions Change nu**** Pursues Personal Development nu**** Supplier/Customer RelationshipsnnOther Competencies nu**** Strong ethics and professional presence required nu**** Strong oral and written communication skills. nu**** Sense of urgency nu**** Proactive and organized nu**** Teamwork playernn## ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:nnQuality System Responsibility n\- Perform activities according to Quality policies (EQMS). n\- Complete annual review of functional procedures.
