Amentum is seeking aDynamometer Operatorto support a unique US Navy program on the island of Diego Garcia. The Dynamometer Operator will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and effective operation, maintenance, and monitoring of dynamometer systems used for testing and diagnostic purposes. This position ensures dynamometer equipment operates within established technical parameters and organizational safety standards while accurately documenting testing activities, maintenance, and results.
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate all aspects of the dynamometer system in accordance with established operating guidelines, procedures,



and safety requirements.
- Set up, calibrate, operate, monitor, and maintain dynamometer equipment to ensure reliable and efficient performance.
- Conduct testing and diagnostic activities while ensuring equipment operates within established technical parameters.
- Monitor system performance and identify abnormal conditions, malfunctions, or potential equipment issues.
- Troubleshoot equipment problems and coordinate corrective actions as necessary.
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on dynamometer systems and associated equipment.
- Accurately document equipment operation, maintenance activities, testing procedures, and test results in designated reporting systems.
- Ensure compliance with applicable safety, health, environmental, and organizational regulations and procedures.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment during all testing and equipment operations.
