Loan Coordinator – Mortgage Operations & Lender Liaison
Full-Time | Remote | U.S. Business Hours
About the Role
At Pavago, one of our clients is hiring a proactive and highly organized
Loan Coordinator
to manage loan files from submission through closing and serve as the key liaison between internal teams and lending partners.
This role is idóneo for someone with hands-on experience in
mortgage operations, loan processing, lender coordination, or real estate financing
who knows how to keep multiple active files moving without missing deadlines or documentation.
What You'll Do
Loan Pipeline Management
Track active loan files from
submission through closing
Monitor loan status, deadlines, outstanding conditions, and next steps
Review pipelines daily and identify potential delays or bottlenecks
Keep all stakeholders informed throughout the loan lifecycle
Lender & Underwriter Communication
Serve as a primary point of contact with lenders
Communicate regularly with lenders and underwriters
Follow up on outstanding conditions and documentation
Escalate issues proactively to prevent closing or funding delays
Documentation & Closing Coordination
Gather and organize required loan documentation
Coordinate responses to underwriting conditions
Maintain complete and accurate loan files
Verify file readiness before key milestones and closing
Keep CRM and loan management systems current
Internal Coordination
Work with internal teams to gather documents and resolve outstanding items
Track responsibilities, follow-ups, and deadlines
Ensure loan packages and updates are submitted on time
Maintain clear visibility across all active transactions
Process Improvement
Identify inefficiencies in loan and lender workflows
Help standardize pipeline tracking and communication
Recommend improvements that reduce delays and loan cycle times
What We're Looking For
Proven experience in
loan coordination, loan processing, mortgage operations,



or lender liaison roles
Strong understanding of the
U.S. mortgage/lending process
Experience managing loan files from submission through closing
Strong lender and underwriter communication skills
Excellent written and verbal English
Ability to manage multiple active files and deadlines simultaneously
Strong attention to detail and follow-through
Experience with CRM systems and Google Workspace
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Availability for
30+ hours per week during U.S. business hours
Nice to Have
DSCR, non-QM, or investment-property financing
experience
Experience supporting real estate investors
Familiarity with
Encompass, LendingPad, Jungo, Salesforce
, or similar platforms
Experience with U.S.-based mortgage lenders or brokers
Real estate acquisitions, dispositions, or operations experience

Loan files consistently progress toward closing
Outstanding conditions are followed up on quickly
Accurate, up-to-date pipeline visibility
Complete and organized documentation
Fewer preventable funding or closing delays
Strong communication between lenders and internal teams
No missed critical deadlines or follow-ups
