Eaton/u2019s Corporate Sector division is currently seeking a EHS Coordinator. /n/n## What you/u2019ll do:/n/nJob Summary /nThis position provides Environmental, Health, Safety and Security support to Eaton Corporate Solutions that includes HQ at Queretaro MX and MITIKAH Commercial Headquarters in Mexico City, as well as any other Eaton Solution employee throughout the Mexican sites.
This position is accountable for supporting EHS activities at sites including monitoring EHS objectives and targets, internal reporting of EHS performance, ensures businesses/sites level EHS programs, policies, procedures and systems are developed, implemented and sustained to ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulatory requirements and conformance with Eaton Corporation mandates.

This position is also responsible for maintaining site ISO 14001/u0026 45001/NOM/STPS certification/compliance along with supporting the creation of strong EHS culture that engages employees throughout the sites. /nThis position will report directly to the Mexico Country manager and the EHS Mexico Corporate team to support, develop and deploy legal changes, training, OCA throughout the Mexican sites and help standarize processes and procedures across the country./" /n/n/n#Li-SL4/n/nJob Responsibilities /n/u2022 Supports site in achieving EHS targets /u0026 objectives, including development, maintenance, and achievement of goals in support of corporate and business group EHS strategic initiatives.

/n/u2022 Leads and supports risk assessment at the location to identify critical EHS hazards and aspects. /n/u2022 Drives and promotes a Zero Incident Culture throughout the sites. /n/u2022 Uses established EHS data processes such as MESH Prism, Benchmark and Power BI to manage data such as injuries and illnesses, environmental metrics, risk assessments, EHS action items and other pertinent information.
/n/u2022 Assist with the implementation of MESH system and utilize its tools to drive improvements.



/n/u2022 Support EHS engagement through teams and committees/u2019 integration. /n/u2022 Act as the Environmental Health /u0026 Safety Management Representative for all 3rd party certifications and manages the internal audit programs.
/n/u2022 Attend legal inspections, as well as respond to non-conformities in a timely and proper manner. /n/u2022 Responsible for municipal, state, and federal licenses, permits and requirements RTO (STPS). /n/u2022 Supports the team with wide knowledge of the legal requirements of local, state, and federal government agencies.
/n/u2022 Review site environmental and operational federal, State and municipal permits and ensure compliance. /n/u2022 Champion the MESH MOC process as required. /n/u2022 Evaluate jobs work instructions for possible ergonomic improvements. /n/u2022 Investigate all incidents and near misses, identify root causes, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
/n/u2022 Meet any other activity assigned by the supervisor or special requirements of the company. /n/u2022 Active participation in continuous improvement programs, committees and councils. /n/u2022 Supervises compliance with all policies applicable to the role./n/n/u2022 Coordinates the medical department for all locations listed and coordinate medical responsibilities with other medical departments when applicable.
/n/n/u2022 Ensures compliance of facility contractors at all locations and work in coordination with other EHS departments at other shared locations./n/n/u2022 Participates proactively in MESH assessments. /n/n/u2022 Ensure EHS communication is propper on those locations shared with other businessess where Eaton solutions coexist.




/n/n## Qualifications:/n/nEducation level required /n/n/u2022 Bachelor/u2019s Degree in Environmental, Health and Safety Engineering or related field from an accredited institution required./n/nYears and area of experience required /n/n/u2022 Minimum of 3 years of working experience in Environmental, Health and Safety in a manufacturing environment or a combination of those functions./n/nTechnical knowledge /n/n/u2022 Operation Excellence indicators on Safety.
/n/u2022 Strong EHS processes knowledge (RSA, LSR, emergency preparedness, fire Safety, hygiene /u0026 ergonomics). /n/u2022 Strong Environmental aspects knowledge (aspects assessment, waste, water, emission /u0026 energy management). /n/u2022 Understanding knowledge of ISO 14001/NOM/STPS regulations.
