Resumen:

The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations within assembly, packaging, and foaming processes. This role ensures that production targets, quality standards, safety requirements, and cost objectives are met while leading, developing, and motivating production teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsabilidades:

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate daily production activities for assembly, packaging, and foaming operations.
- Ensure production schedules are met in terms of safety, quality, delivery, and cost (SQDC).
- Monitor process performance, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions.
- Lead and develop hourly personnel, including training, performance feedback, attendance control, and discipline in accordance with company policies.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, housekeeping standards (5S), and environmental requirements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and problem-solving activities.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to resolve production issues.
- Ensure proper use of materials, equipment,



and labor to maximize efficiency and minimize scrap.
- Maintain accurate production reports, KPIs, and shift handover communication.
- Enforce standard work, work instructions, and quality procedures.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience in assembly lines, packaging operations, and/or foaming processes.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing KPIs, production planning, and labor management.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing tools and continuous improvement practices.
- Basic to intermediate computer skills (ERP/MRP systems, Excel, reporting tools).
