Eaton/u2019s IS AER ITD division is currently seeking a Ingeniero de Procesos de Moldeo, Sr../n/n## What you/u2019ll do:/n/nPRIMARY FUNCTION:/n/nThe Molding Process Engineer is responsible for the development, validation and innovation of new ideas, products, processes, materials and all the specific tools necessary for the molding industry in general, at an advanced engineering level.
Defines and implements the functions of troubleshooting, assembly, modification, design and replacement of molds, dies and tooling; ensuring compliance with product and process specifications, maximizing efficiency in the use of resources and favorably impacting operating indicators such as: Quality, Service and Cost./n/nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: /n/n/u2022 Coordinate and participate with HPWT (High Performance Work Teams) to achieve Hive Five Metrics /n/u2022 Propose and implement actions to reduce the scrap in Molding Area /n/u2022 Define, develop and implement efficient molding processes /n/u2022 Improve efficiency and cycle time in Molding Processes /n/u2022 Leads value engineering, DOE, and RIE events to improve part cost, quality, and performance.
/n/u2022 Implementation and management of equipment installation, layout changes and improvements /n/u2022 Training and validation of the activities of technical and operational personnel in the use of molding equipment /n/u2022 Investigation of machine and mold damage, customer complaints, or production defects /n/u2022 Validation of new molds and defining process parameters /n/u2022 Conditioning machines or equipment designed to improve production conditions /n/u2022 Plans the sequences of operations and specifies the procedures for the development of tools or equipment and other functions that affect production /n/u2022 Project management /n/u2022 Establish strategies / parameters for the use of team capabilities /n/u2022 Process Validation for engineering changes or new products (PPAP Level 3,
