Position Overview

The Recruiter – Automotive Industry will be responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process for automotive manufacturing, engineering, and operational roles across PAC’s client engagements. This role requires a recruiter with direct experience supporting automotive OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturer), Tier 1 suppliers (ex. Magna, Bosch, Valeo etc.), or manufacturing environments, with the ability to source and engage highly specialized talent within the automotive sector. The Recruiter will partner closely with hiring managers, program leaders, and HR stakeholders to identify talent needs, develop sourcing strategies, and ensure timely hiring of skilled professionals supporting PAC’s global automotive programs.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Sourcing & Pipeline Development

Source candidates across automotive engineering, manufacturing, and operational roles through LinkedIn, industry networks, job boards, and targeted sourcing strategies.





Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates within the automotive manufacturing and engineering sector.

Utilize advanced sourcing techniques including Boolean searches, industry mapping, and competitor targeting.

Candidate Screening & Evaluation

Conduct phone and video interviews to assess technical qualifications, automotive industry experience, and cultural alignment.

Evaluate candidate experience in automotive manufacturing environments such as OEM plants, supplier facilities, or engineering consulting firms.

Present qualified candidate shortlists to hiring managers and coordinate the interview process.

Full-Cycle Recruitment

Manage the recruitment lifecycle from sourcing through offer stage while ensuring a positive candidate experience.

Maintain accurate candidate records within the Applicant Tracking System (Greenhouse).

Support offer creation and coordinate candidate communications throughout the hiring process.

Hiring Manager Collaboration

Partner with hiring managers and program leaders to understand role requirements and project staffing needs.

Provide market insights related to talent availability, compensation trends, and recruiting strategies within the automotive industry.

Ensure consistent communication with stakeholders regarding candidate progress and hiring timelines.

Communicate effectively with senior leadership, tailoring messaging with tact, clarity,



and sound professional judgment when discussing hiring needs, candidate recommendations, and recruitment strategies.

Recruitment Operations & Process Improvement

Track recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, pipeline health, and sourcing effectiveness.

Support process improvements to streamline recruitment operations and improve hiring efficiency.

Assist with standardizing job descriptions, interview processes, and recruitment workflows.

Qualifications

Experience

3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience

Direct recruiting experience within the automotive industry required

Experience supporting hiring for automotive manufacturing, engineering, or operational roles

Experience recruiting for OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, engineering consulting firms, or manufacturing environments strongly preferred

Fluent in both Spanish and English (written and verbal) – required

Skills

Strong sourcing capabilities using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and industry networks

Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (Greenhouse preferred)

Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills

Ability to manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment

Strong communication skills in both candidate engagement and hiring manager collaboration

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred (not required)
