About the Role We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Public Accountant to join our accounting team in Guadalajara.
This is a hands-on accounting position where you will be involved in the complete accounting cycle, supporting month-end close, reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and financial reporting.
We are looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership, identifies issues before they become problems, communicates proactively, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Candidates with experience in a public accounting firm (despacho contable) are highly valued, as they typically develop strong accounting fundamentals and exposure to multiple areas of accounting.

What You'll Do Perform full-cycle accounting activities.
Prepare journal entries and supporting documentation.
Prepare and review accruals.
Complete balance sheet reconciliations.
Participate in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close.
Analyze financial transactions and investigate discrepancies.
Prepare supporting schedules for financial reporting.
Maintain accurate accounting records.
Support internal and external audits.
Collaborate with different departments to resolve accounting issues.
Identify missing information, potential risks, or accounting issues early and communicate them proactively.
Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency.

What We're Looking For

Requirements
Required Bachelor's Degree in Public Accounting (Licenciatura en Contaduría Pública).
Professional License (Cédula Cualificado).
Experience in General Accounting / Full-Cycle Accounting.
Experience with:
Journal Entries
Accruals
Balance Sheet Reconciliations
Month-End Close





Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
Advanced Excel skills.
Availability to work full-time on-site in our offices in Col Providencia, Guadalajara.
Flexibility to work beyond regular business hours when required to meet month-end close deadlines and business priorities.
English

Nice to Have Experience in a public accounting firm (despacho contable).
Experience supporting multiple companies or business units.
Experience in audit or accounting services.
